Lane's Chapel

A Message from the Pastor

Lane's Chapel is a gem in the Kinston-New Bern area. We are a special church for two reasons: who we are and what we do.

Who we are is a tight-knit but welcoming, traditional but forward-looking congregation united by a common faith and a common cause: the Great Commission. 

What we do is the pure worship of God, as our fathers before us and as we train our children after us. We stand to sing hymns and confess our faith, we sit to hear the Word read and preached, and we kneel for communion.

It is too common in our day for churches to drift from their mission, lose their zeal, or chase the fads of the culture. We believe instead that the intergenerational church meets the need of the day to make and train disciples for the real spiritual warfare we are called to endure.

We are recruiting members of all ages to this fight—not to passively watch, but to train and serve in the church according to your gifts. This is a church for you.
